First Amulet Series

Dreamt up and developed by Nawashahu Yawanawá and Maria Sanz, they were created from drawings made during a spiritual diet at the Sacred Village in Rio Gregório, Acre.

Kenes are symbols that represent the elements of the forest, the power of water, the moon, the sun and traditional drawings, Paspi, sacred spears, the power of warriors, as well as fish and baskets, which tell the sacred stories of the Yawanawá Potes.

The patterns were also developed as a symbolic link between the traditional Yawanawá ceremonial garments and the contemporary-ancestral kimonos.

The fabric chosen as the main base for the collection is 100% viscose.
